Gas alarm center MSA SUPREMATouch
The modular design of the SUPREMATouch fire and gas detection system meets the requirements of many different industries and applications, while complying with all relevant global safety standards. Building on the success of the original, innovative SUPREMA control system design, the system features a large color touch screen, enhanced process functions and optional integration of addressable fire and smoke detectors. It can be used with a range of different detectors for e.g. flammable and toxic gases, oxygen, smoke, fire and heat. Output options include relays and 4-20 mA outputs. Other remote racks can be connected with a digital interface. It is possible to cooperate with external systems by using Modbus or Profibus.
The intuitive SUPREMA Manager software (version 2.2.0) is used in the configuration, parameterization and calibration of the SUPREMATouch controller for fire and gas. It enables the user to create detailed and clearly structured reports so that the requirements for documentation are met, and even later versions of the classic SUPREMA systems are supported. The Windows-based software is ATEX approved by DEKRA EXAM for commissioning and maintenance of SUPREMA systems and also supports Windows 8.
The performance of SUPREMATouch has been certified according to the ATEX directive and is suitable for virtually all safety-related applications, including legacy systems with a classification of Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 (IEC 61508).
